In the year 2007 it was the Ferrari team who were the champions with 204 points and the BMW team had followed a long way down the line with 101 points. But the McLaren Mercedes team was stripped of every point last year as they were found in breach of the International Sporting Code.

The SingTel Singapore Grand Prix was a pretty good race for the Renault team and they are certainly looking forward to do even better in this upcoming race. Last year it was Lewis Hamilton who had won the Grand Prix in Japan and he had started from the first grid position back then. Heikki Kovalainen and Kimi Raikkonen occupied the second and the third position respectively. With three more races to go the Formula One season is really getting exciting and each and every race right now will help to determine the winning driver and the team of this season.

Drivers like Fernando Alonso, Nick Heidfeld, Lewis Hamilton, Robert Kubica – all are going to be participating in this race the Japanese Grand Prix at the Fuji Speedway this year.
